Ozzie) : Australian<br \/>\nBarbie : barbecue<br \/>\nBludger : lazy person, layabout, somebody who always relies on other people to do things or lend him things<br \/>\nBodgy : of inferior quality<br \/>\nBrekkie : breakfast<br \/>\nBYO : unlicensed restaurant where you have to Bring Your Own grog, also similar party or barbecue<br \/>\nCranky : in a bad mood, angry<br \/>\nFooty : Australian Rules football<br \/>\nG\u2019Day : hello!<br \/>\nLollies : sweets, candy<br \/>\nchewing gun not bubble gum<br \/>\nsticky tape not cello tape<br \/>\nMate : buddy, friend<br \/>\nMug : friendly insult (\u201dhave a go, yer mug\u201d), gullible person<br \/>\nNo drama : same as \u2018no worries\u2019<br \/>\nNo worries! : Expression of forgiveness or reassurance (No problem; forget about it; I can do it; Yes, I\u2019ll do it)<br \/>\nOldies : parents &#8211; \u201cI\u2019ll have to ask my oldies<br \/>\nOutback : interior of Australia<br \/>\nOz : Australia!<br \/>\nPokies : poker machines, fruit machines, gambling slot machines<br \/>\ncurry muncha-curry eater&#8211;Indian<br \/>\nPom, pommy : an Englishman<br \/>\nPostie : postman, mailman<br \/>\nReckon! : you bet! Absolutely!<br \/>\nSmoko : smoke or coffee break<br \/>\nUni : university<br \/>\nUte : utility vehicle, pickup truck<br \/>\nTruckie : truck driver<br \/>\nVedgies : vegetables<br \/>\nWhinge : complain<br \/>\nWog : flu or trivial illness<br \/>\nWog : person of Mediterranean origin.
